For the past two weeks, directly after finals, I was really busy with my volunteer work at ISDS for APA 2007. It was terribly busy, but terribly GRRrrreat. Alavet!
Call me a masochist, but it was a way to enjoy the sembreak. Sleeping late at night and waking up early in the morning... getting to stay in a five-star hotel (the room was runder my name!) for free... meeting a lot of people from different ASEAN countries and not to mention, political scientists we only get to hear and read about... awesome.
Next stop GASC at UP Los Banos (argh, how do you type n to be enye?). I'll be leaving on Sunday and the event hapens on Monday and Tuesday. Bale, my sembreak would technically consist of the days from October 26-27 and 31, then November 1-4. Reg starts on the 5th. Great. A week's worth of break. I hope that'd be enough to cure a burn out. I mean I'm enjoying; I like what I'm doing, but I can't believe you can feel burned out at the same time.
But I swear I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now. I wouldn't have done my sembreak any other way. Same goes with majority of the other parts of my life. It's just that I miss the times I had for myself. During the sem, I also missed having more time for my acads. Hahaha. Nerdy.
I swear I don't know why I named my blog like this.

hindi kami binayaran para sa APA this year. narinig ko nga na binayaran kayo last year. haaay..
